Our Story so far
Tryston
From my school days I have always had a passion for creating be it art or useful items. I was always good using my hands. But where this all started for me was in 2007 and a pyrography set as a present and I fell in love with the art. I have done burnings on wood as presents and I have done signage for friends to help with with their businesses. Also along the way I have started learning leather crafting making Viking style pouches I quickly realised I could combine leather and use my Ortur Laser and engrave directly into leather so Band Patches were born.
Move on a few years and I have art work across the world. With John believing in my dream we joined forces and we are proud to invite you all along with us on our journey.
And now working closely with bands putting their Official logos onto leather we now can offer patches directly to their fans as well as doing custom patches for you.

I became enthused by what Tryston was creating with his many years in engraving and woodworking, and became encouraged to start laser engraving.. we both bought Ortur Master 2 Pro machines.
My first journey into laser engraving, began with burning designs onto wood and tiles. I soon realised what a high learning curve this process was, but was determined to improve.
With encouraging results made, I soon researched and starting working in other areas as well, which would help create other Burning Innovations. This was first realised
using a Cricut machine ... This cutting machine enabled me to cut designs using heat transfer vinyl, or HTV, Permanent vinyl, infusable ink, and had other options too, including cutting designs into card.
Combined with this, the discovery of sublimated inks, opened up
a whole new area to create handmade gifts. Most of these processes need a heat press too.
At this moment in time, an option of screen printed items, is also being developed for the future.
Apart from this, I worked in Archaeology for 13 years, both as a site supervisor and finds supervisor, which i absolutely loved. My highlights from this were, finding a rare Norman Water tank (made from wood) all fully intact with saw marks, due to it being waterlogged (high water Table). Creating a pottery type series for the late Neolithic period, which the British museum, used as a basis for this period. Being out in all weathers, and usually getting very muddy, yeah. Digging up human skeletons, and their associated artefacts...better stop here or i could go on for ever.
I also have a passion for rock music
and was lucky enough to become an online Rock DJ for 99wnrr, before hosting several radio shows every week for Aces High Radio. I have now retired from this, but you never know i might return.
I also used to foster and adopt dogs, until i fell in love with the boxer breed, and fostered and adopted them, mainly through Northern Rose Boxer Rescue. My last adopted Boxer, Cleo before i adopted her, i fostered, but soon fell in love with her gentle nature. Before she came into the hands of the Rescue, she had been on a Puppy Farm for 5 years...If anyone has the time, to volunteer for a dog Rescue, I would thoroughly recommend it.
